The pugs spend the majority of the day sleeping. On the sofa. Partly maybe due to comfort, but also because it gives them an excellent vantage point from which to keep track of the comings and goings in the house.
one may argue that there isn't a whole lot of vigilance involved |
What's this? Is that the garage door opening??
the pugs emerge from their stupor |
They are now on high alert! Who goes there!?
you may not be able to tell but they're both really upset |
OK, so perhaps the mama yelling, 'WHO'S THAT?!' is more alarming than any potential intruder.
mama, it's just dada coming home. what is wrong with u. |
LOL, those last two cracked me up! I do the same thing to my dogs. "Who's that?? Who's here??? Go get him!!!" It's no wonder they go full on psycho when they hear a doorbell on TV.
ReplyDeleteomg. doorbells, door knocks, dogs barking.... deedee goes bonkers whenever we watch TV. makes us read more. (btw, I haven't been able to access your blog in months! something about 'cannot be displayed')
DeleteHi cutie pies.
ReplyDeleteMy mommy says she cannot get enough of your cute faces and now she wants to come kiss and smooch all over you! You made us smile.
I get on full alert sometimes- and things get loud. Do you get loud too?
love

Oh, totally... "who's there?" gets us every... single .... time....
ReplyDeleteMama says she is in love with Deedee's last picture. Pinch the cheeks and smooch them.
Bahahahaaa! You girls totally knew it was your dada. I mean DUH, we can totally tell if it is a familiar car. These humans underestimate our pug intelligence. I'm sure if the doorbell had rung, you would have seen a flying pug in action. Or something like that anyway :)
